Pastoral Care
Residential Life
The daily schedule at CIRS is meticulously structured to span from 5.10 am to 9.15 pm for juniors and from 5.40 am to 10.30 pm for seniors, strategically harnessing various facets of students’ personalities for comprehensive self-development.
Embarking on the day’s journey, a rejuvenating half-hour of jogging is incorporated to invigorate the body. Post-exercise, students partake in a spiritually enriching class that imparts knowledge on higher values while fostering awareness about Indian culture and tradition. A fulfilling breakfast sets the tone for the entire school’s gathering, where a prayer and cultural discourse kickstart the assembly, featuring diverse engaging programs and presentations.
The academic rigors follow, with ten periods interspersed throughout the day (comprising Academic period 10 and Supervised Studies 3 periods), briefly interrupted by a short break. After a hearty lunch, students take a moment of relaxation in their dormitories before returning to their regular classes. The evening heralds an opportunity for students to engage in sports activities of their choice and pursue their individual hobbies.
Following these pursuits, students freshen up and actively participate in the evening Aarti, fostering a sense of devotion that contributes to their spiritual and cultural development. Post-dinner, students are granted free time to indulge in activities such as listening to music or watching appropriate TV programs. Some opt for insightful discussions with tutors, while private study is actively encouraged in the dormitories, particularly for the senior students. In this holistic manner, the students at CIRS lead a balanced, well-rounded lifestyle that is not only invigorating but also enriching and enlightening.

Individual Care
CIRS transcends the conventional notion of a mere educational institution; it embodies the essence of a nurturing family. Each child within its premises receives personalized attention, akin to the care they would experience in their own homes. Unlike many schools that primarily address intellectual needs, CIRS takes a holistic approach, tending to every facet of a child’s well-being, including the physical, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual aspects.
The outcome is a school environment where students evolve into bright, confident, and well-balanced individuals, excelling both in academic pursuits and recreational activities. The love and nurturing provided at CIRS are deeply cherished by the students, who respond positively to this comprehensive care. Many express a sense of belonging, often stating that they feel as much a part of CIRS as they do within their family at home.
Central to CIRS’s ethos is the acknowledgment that each child is not merely a statistic or roll number but an individual of immense worth. The school celebrates every child’s birthday with a special song composed by Guruji at the school assembly, and every 15 days, there’s a grand celebration for all birthdays. This personalized touch fosters an atmosphere at CIRS that is not only homely but also imbued with love. The genuine care extended by the dedicated staff and management to the children, as well as among themselves, is palpable and contributes to the unique warmth that defines the CIRS experience.
Medical Facilities
Countless studies have shown that health and academics go hand in hand. To ensure resilient emotional and physical health of the students we have incorporated the Health Set Go program. Health Set Go is India’s pioneering health solutions program working on the World Health Organization School Health Framework, with the aim to provide children with a healthy environment which leads to holistic development.
The convenience of living on campus means you have everything you may ever need close by, including health services when you’re not feeling well.
Students have access to the school Hospital, where staff provide on-campus medical assistance and educate and counsel students about healthy lifestyle choices. A nurse is on duty or on call at all times in the school reception area. The hospital is equipped with beds for comfortable overnight stays.
CIRS also has excellent access to specialist doctors, physiotherapists and other medical experts from Coimbatore.
The boarding community has a designated counsellor whose primary focus is to ensure your success at school. Mental health is just as important as physical health, so the school provides with confidential access to counsellors, or off-campus psychologists or registered clinical counsellors to give you the support you need.
School has a dispensary headed by a Medical Doctor with a team of three nurses round the clock for any first aid and emergency. The dispensary has 2 separate wards, one for girls and another for boys with 24 beds each. It also has other facilities like isolation ward, dental clinic and an emergency room.
Analysis of Health
Students undergo recurring medical exams at the school. This entails a clinical assessment for dietary deficiencies, a yearly visual examination, and routine and quarterly measurements of height and weight. In addition, boarding home checks are conducted every morning in order to make sure that no illnesses are present. Students’ cumulative health records are kept on file by the school. Parents of students who need medical attention are notified of their examination results.
Dental and Eye Health
The school employs a dental hygienist and orthodontist for regular dental check-ups and treatment. All eye-related infections and errors are detected and treated in the school campus by an ophthalmologist.
