Shaishav Shiksha Camp

The CCMT Education Cell organised a five-day Orientation Programme titled ‘Shaishav Shiksha–II’ for Foundation Years teachers (Nursery to Class II) at CIRS from 1 to 5 December 2025. The programme aimed to enrich teachers’ understanding of early childhood education through interactive sessions, demonstrations, and experiential learning. The programme commenced with flag hoisting and inauguration by Swamini Supriyananda, followed by an overview of the programme by Smt. Shanti Krishnamurthy, Director, CCMTEC.

The sessions covered key areas such as CVP and Early Childhood Education (ECE), the National Curriculum Framework (NCF), language development through storytelling, curriculum design, lesson planning, technology integration in ECE, and Child and Brain Development. Eminent experts and experienced educators shared their insights through lectures, workshops, and demonstration classes.

Activities including drama, dance and movement, quizzes, games, campfire sessions, and group interactions added vibrancy to the programme and fostered strong bonding among the participants. Spiritual sessions and daily routines such as walks, aarti, and reflection time created a well-balanced and holistic learning environment. The programme concluded on a positive note, leaving the participants inspired and better equipped to implement innovative and child-centric teaching strategies in their classrooms.
