The session was facilitated by a dynamic young team from ZOHO\, who highlighted the growing relevance of Artificial Intelligence in contemporary education. \nThe workshop offered valuable insights into how AI can transform teaching–learning processes by making classrooms more interactive\, personalised\, and efficient. Faculty members were introduced to innovative tools such as NotebookLM\, Napkin\, Ollama\, and Khanmigo\, which demonstrated AI’s surprising potential in lesson planning\, student engagement\, and assessment practices. \nOne of the most exciting aspects of the workshop was the hands-on exploration\, where teachers experimented with creating their own AI-supported applications\, including tools for answer evaluation and marking. Overall\, the workshop was engaging\, insightful\, and highly useful\, equipping educators with practical exposure to AI and reinforcing the commitment of CIRS to embracing future-ready educational practices.

DESCRIPTION:The CCMT Education Cell organised a five-day Orientation Programme titled ‘Shaishav Shiksha–II’ for Foundation Years teachers (Nursery to Class II) at CIRS from 1 to 5 December 2025. The programme aimed to enrich teachers’ understanding of early childhood education through interactive sessions\, demonstrations\, and experiential learning. The programme commenced with flag hoisting and inauguration by Swamini Supriyananda\, followed by an overview of the programme by Smt. Shanti Krishnamurthy\, Director\, CCMTEC. \nThe sessions covered key areas such as CVP and Early Childhood Education (ECE)\, the National Curriculum Framework (NCF)\, language development through storytelling\, curriculum design\, lesson planning\, technology integration in ECE\, and Child and Brain Development. Eminent experts and experienced educators shared their insights through lectures\, workshops\, and demonstration classes. \nActivities including drama\, dance and movement\, quizzes\, games\, campfire sessions\, and group interactions added vibrancy to the programme and fostered strong bonding among the participants. Spiritual sessions and daily routines such as walks\, aarti\, and reflection time created a well-balanced and holistic learning environment. The programme concluded on a positive note\, leaving the participants inspired and better equipped to implement innovative and child-centric teaching strategies in their classrooms.
