Sports and Games

Games and sports play an integral role in shaping our curriculum, serving as not only a means of fostering the overall development of students’ personalities but also complementing growth across various spheres. Through active participation, students glean essential values such as teamwork, dedication, discipline, and punctuality. Moreover, engagement in these activities ensures the maintenance of physical fitness and prevents issues related to obesity among children.

Commencing the day, the morning routine initiates with a dedicated session of jogging designed for junior students, spanning the invigorating time frame of 5 am to 6 am. Concurrently, senior students engage in their fitness regimen slightly later, undertaking the rejuvenating activity of jogging from 5:30 am to 6:30 am.

Within the school, students actively take part in a diverse array of indoor games, including badminton, table tennis, carrom, and chess, as well as outdoor sports like athletics, basketball, football, khokho, swimming, cricket, tennis and table tennis. This involvement extends beyond regular school hours, both before and after, contingent upon the seasons.

Co-curricular activities form an indispensable component of school life, contributing significantly to the educational experience of students. These activities, mandatory for all students, are meticulously crafted to strike a balance with the academic curriculum, providing an opportunity for every student to expand their learning beyond traditional subjects. What sets co-curricular activities apart is their seamless integration into academics, injecting excitement into the teaching and learning processes for both teachers and students.

Aligning with this approach, a myriad of literary activities, including field trips, declamation, debates, recitations, quizzes, etc., are organized. Cultural activities such as group and solo singing, group and solo dancing, drama, fancy dress, etc., further enrich the students’ experiences. Notably, the students exhibit a keen interest in computer-related activities, participating enthusiastically in various festival celebrations and philanthropic endeavors.
